They never identified themselves at the Pawn Stars store as TLC Travel Club while telling people they can win a VIP tour of the store and meeting with Rick, Hoss, Old Man, and Chumley by filling out information and then putting into a box. Therefore, I thought they were working with Pawn Stars.

Three months later I get a call from TLC saying that I have won the drawing for the VIP tour. They also mentioned about the prizes that were included for $299. Usually when you win a drawing, everything is free. Total scam. What I can't figure out is how Pawn Stars allow this type of deception to take place on their property??? Another thing is when I called back to TLC, they referred themselves as TLC - VIP tour of Pawn Stars.

Overall, it is not mostly about the cost, but just being straightforward who they are and the purpose of the collecting the info from people who visited the store, but when people deceive others they will never tell the truth.

Reason of review: Deceiving people who they truly are..

Preferred solution: Just be honest who they are when telling people they can win a VIP tour of the Pawn Stars store..

TLC Resorts Cons: Lies, Fraudulent, Horrible misleading.

actually when you "win" anything there are fees associated with it. so yu should know NOTHING is full free, second there are several refunds that are given based on deposit which is the money that you put down to secure your spot.

third, i "won" and recieved a freee pawn stars tour and everything i was promised i actually recieved.

You should be more intelligent in the future. this is NOT a scam, you tried to scam

No one said anything about a scam. Why are you being so defensive?

Are comments like this ruining your business? Probably.

They said it is deceptive to represent yourself as a branch of the Pawn Stars company. That is what this time share company is doing.

Totally INCORRECT! First of all, TLC is NOT a timeshare company so clearly, you are not familiar with them at all.

Next, it was a marketing company at Pawn Stars. Nothing more nothing less. They generate interest from couples and sell these couples to vacation Clubs like TLC and other timeshare companies all over Vegas. Couples go to the presentation of their own free will in exchange for various incentives many of which are very valuable.

No one forces anyone to do anything.

TLC has many thousands of satisfied customers and RCI has over 5 MILLION satisfied customers/owners and now has the distinction of being the worlds largest travel agency. That did not happen by accident.
